Testing

Risk Assessment

Toxicological, chemical (semi-quantitative screening approach), microbiological and organoleptic risk assessment pursuant to Article 3 of Reg. (EC) n. 1935/2004/EC for Food Contact Materials and Articles according to European and/or international standards.

Plastics and rubber, metals, glass and other materials: are the components of your food machinery suitable for contact with food?

The risks arising from the migration of chemical substances into food can be different in relation to the source and occurre at any step along the food supply chain. The manufcturing process can be critical in relation to the complexity of the food machinery wich is involved: each surface of the machinery, each product or substance used can chemically interact with food. Therefore it is very important to perform a complete risk assessment of the manufacturing process in the light of the equipment’s conditions of use.
