The PHYSICAL AGENTS sector carries out the following tests:
- Assessment and measurement of noise exposure in the workplace
- Assessment and measurement of exposure to vibrations in the workplace
- Assessment and measurement of exposure to electromagnetic fields in the workplace
- Measurement of static and radiofrequency magnetic field levels
- Assessment and measurement of exposure to artificial optical radiation in the workplace.
- Assessment of microclimate risk in the workplace;
- Lighting measures in the workplace;
- Impact and acoustic climate assessments of industrial, railway and road sources;
- Monitoring of noise emissions using a mobile detection station;
- Local acoustic zoning plans;
- Application of mathematical models for studies on noise emissions and gaseous and odorous pollutants in the environment (Software for noise mapping, noise prediction and air dispersion modelling);
- Assessment of Passive Acoustic Requirements for Buildings;
- Assessment of low and high frequency electromagnetic impact;
- ATEX classification;
