Physical Agents sector

The PHYSICAL AGENTS sector carries out the following tests:

  • Assessment and measurement of noise exposure in the workplace
  • Assessment and measurement of exposure to vibrations in the workplace
  • Assessment and measurement of exposure to electromagnetic fields in the workplace
  • Measurement of static and radiofrequency magnetic field levels
  • Assessment and measurement of exposure to artificial optical radiation in the workplace.
  • Assessment of microclimate risk in the workplace;
  • Lighting measures in the workplace;
  • Impact and acoustic climate assessments of industrial, railway and road sources;
  • Monitoring of noise emissions using a mobile detection station;
  • Local acoustic zoning plans;
  • Application of mathematical models for studies on noise emissions and gaseous and odorous pollutants in the environment (Software for noise mapping, noise prediction and air dispersion modelling);
  • Assessment of Passive Acoustic Requirements for Buildings;
  • Assessment of low and high frequency electromagnetic impact;
  • ATEX classification;

  • Equipment for measuring broadband and narrowband electromagnetic emissions and measuring static magnetic fields
